Human Food Is often Not Dog-Friendly
Human food can be toxic to dogs, posing a major threat to their health and well-being. Vomiting, diarrhea, upset stomach, decreased breathing, kidney issues, seizures, and even death can all be caused by certain foods.
Why? Because the metabolism of a dog differs from that of humans. The process of breaking down food and converting it to energy is known as metabolism.
Because your dog's body cannot process all sorts of food in the same way that yours can, things that are fine for you may be harmful to your dog.
By any sense of the imagination, dogs aren't picky eaters. This does not, however, imply that everything they eat is safe. You should be aware of how different meals influence your pet as a dog parent.
Our dogs get into foods they shouldn't all of the time. Some of these foods are hazardous to dogs and necessitate immediate medical attention, which can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars. Accidental poisoning may be covered by pet insurance, saving you money and allowing you to focus on your dog's health.
Regardless of whether you have pet insurance or not, you must know which foods are harmful to your dog in order to keep them safe. We support you by providing lists of foods that dogs cannot consume and those that they may eat safely.
